What inspired you to begin your journey to becoming a trusted tastemaker in fashion and beauty and a digital icon?

I’ve always been interested in fashion + beauty ever since I was really little. Before I started making videos I was mainly into fashion and my plan after high school was to go to fashion school in NY. The summer before my freshman year of high school was really when everything switched for me and I started to get into makeup and I ultimately ended up enjoying doing makeup more than sewing and designing clothes like I was before!

You’re so well-rounded and heavily involved in beauty and fashion communities. How do you balance all of this and what inspires you to keep pushing for more?

It’s honestly not that difficult for me to balance and stay inspired as they are both my passions and I love to just have fun with it! Whenever I film a GRWM style video, I also always try to film a “Get Dressed With Me” video to post right after and so that’s how I keep variety in my content.

Where do you draw your inspiration from for your content?

A lot of my inspiration comes from makeup that I receive because when I get a new product, the first thing I want to do is try it out and film a review! But I do also draw some inspiration from other creators like Natalie Violette (I love her makeup challenges) and of course, Mikayla Nogueira.

With your ever growing presence and influence in the beauty industry, do you have any upcoming projects or collaborations that you’re particularly excited and can share a little bit about?

Yes, I do have some fun projects in the works that I can’t wait to share more about with my audience! I can’t share too much at the moment and I have given my audience a little bit of the BTS but definitely keep an eye out!

At just 19 years old, you have already influenced many creators to follow their dreams and be true to themselves. Can you share what you reflect on most in your career thus far?

I always love to reflect on all the accomplishments I’ve been blessed to achieve at such a young age. I always think back to my very first beauty event at 17 with Kylie Cosmetics and how nervous I was then to attend Kylie Cosmetics events now and I’m getting the chance to make content with her at her launch of her Cosmic fragrance and really build a relationship with the brand.

As a LGBTQ+ and Latinx creator, how has your background influenced your approach to fashion and beauty?

I’ve always had so much support from my family from such a young age. From how I dressed to loving makeup, my family was just always so accepting. Especially my mom who would take me shopping from all the makeup I wanted to try and let me truly express myself, so I think that really translated into my confidence and ability to just be myself online.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself definitely owning my own brand- whether that’s a fashion or beauty brand, we’ll have to see but that’s definitely a priority of mine! I’d also love to be a homeowner, that’s a huge personal goal of mine.

What advice would you give to someone aspiring to become a creator in the fashion and beauty community?

I always say just be yourself. I know it’s easier said than done but regardless of who you are, people are always going to have something to say so I think it’s important to just do you and if it makes you happy, you should give it your all!
