“KAIROS” isn’t just an art exhibition—it’s an experimental exploration of time. By capturing fleeting moments when the world subtly shifts, it invites audiences to take decisive action, urging us to fully embrace the present with fervour and awareness. “Kairos” speaks to the urgency of now, where each heartbeat brings us closer to transformation.
These moments of profound significance hold the potential for alchemy, calling us to step into the unknown and forge new paths. Inspired by spirituality, the cycles of life, and the intricate link between the physical and spiritual, “Kairos” delves into how art and spiritual practice converge. The exhibition experiments with art as a portal to the sacred, reflecting on the timeless possibilities held in each passing moment.
Curated by Teng Xue and Kaycee, curators of SPIRA9ART, a London-based arts collective that supports under-represented voices and emerging artists, “Kairos” unites 33 artists and collectives working across a wide range of media—painting, performance, sculpture, installation, video, and photography. Together, they transcend conventional artistic boundaries, reshaping our perception of time and revealing the unseen currents that shape both our inner and outer worlds.
At the opening of the Kairos exhibition, Mai Nguyen Tri and Kefan Wang will be the featured performers. Mai, with a background in literature and diverse dance training, focuses on choreography and storytelling through movement. Her exploration of Butoh, an elusive and primal art form, enables her to interpret time through physical theater.
