Blondshell – “Two Times”

Poignant to the core, Blondshell’s latest album teaser “Two Times” is a rich and poetic indie folk gem. Plucked from her 2nd May-set sophomore album, the singer-songwriter’s harmonies dazzle atop a stripped-back sentimental instrumental palette.

Fontaines D.C. – “It’s Amazing To Be Young”

Irish troubadours Fontaines D.C. continuing their journey toward being a generation defining band with another excellent track. “It’s Amazing To Be Young” is the first cut since their acclaimed record Romance, and fulfils a similar sonic and tonal pocket, and comes accompanied by a heart-aching visual from BAFTA-award winner Luna Carmoon.

Saya Gray – SAYA

The self-titled debut album from Toronto visionary Saya Gray is simply astounding. Concise, deeply expressive and stylistically resolute, Gray makes a fiercely personal narrator, showing herself to be one of her generation’s most definitive voices. Unmissable.

Ezra Collective ft. Sasha Keable – “Body Language”

UK jazz heavyweights Ezra Collective continue to storm the popular consensus with another sizzling single. “Body Language” borrows the craft and charisma of esteemed vocalist Sasha Keable, and thrives in its Latin-adjacent sensibilities.

Perfume Genius ft. Aldous Harding – “No Front Teeth”

Enigmatic and emphatic musician Perfume Genius is gearing up too share a new album, Glory, in late March, and shares another quietly thrilling teaser single. “No Front Teeth” features esteemed folk singer-songwriter Aldous Harding, and is structurally progressive, cinematically produced and wonderfully performed.

Paris Texas – “They Left Me With The Sword”

Unmissable right now with their support slot on Tyler, The Creator’s world tour, immense alt rap duo Paris Texas unveil a surprise EP “They Left Me With The Sword”. Outlandish as ever, the 8-pronged project is a scintillating addition to the pair’s unparalleled catalogue.

DJ Python ft. Isabella Lovestory – “Besos Robados”

On his XL Recordings debut, bold and bohemian beatsmith DJ Python shares his first music in our three years with “Besos Robados”. Featuring the always marvelling Isabelle Lovestory, the cut is off-kilter and murky, with the producer’s avant-garde terrain a perfect ground for Lovestory to vocally amble through.

Lojay – “Somebody Like You”

Nigerian singer-songwriter Lojay looks inward at love and heartbreak on heartfelt new release “Somebody Like You”. The hook swoons and croons, with the artist’s beguiling vocal presence and winning charm shining through the Afro rhythms and cinematic strings.

Greentea Peng – “Green”

The theatre of “Green” is utterly captivating. The fourth single from elusive beacon of light Greentea Peng’s upcoming sophomore full-length is dusty and mood-driven, performed with class and fervour, written with a piercing vision of self.

Soft Launch – “Dinosaur”

Anglo-Irish art-to-indie pop five-piece are still without a miss with this, their fifth single. “Dinosaur” is soft, thoughtful and hooky, with gentle grooves, washy keys and subtle vocality proving a dreamy and delicate delight.

Miso Extra – “Ghostly”

Gearing up for her anticipated debut album—Earcandy, due 16th May—Miso Extra shares a subtly immersive single “Ghostly”. Soft and sensual vocally, the sublime vocal performance is countered by sprinkles of sparse and experimental production. Mature, genre-defiant and complex pop at its best.

Rob de Boer – “Our Own Way”

An old school and unassuming jazzy gem, Dublin artist Rob de Boer unveils a subtle and shining new single “Our Own Way”. The track comes accompanied by a playful and pastiche video, with de Boer showing himself to be a soft spoken crooner and wonderful lyricist.

Witch Post – “Dreaming”

Announcing their forthcoming debut EP “Beast” is dropping in April, super duo Witch Post share a rousing new single “Dreaming”. It, like the band, is a two sided opus; at times unassuming and country-leaning, other times distorted and daring, the cut is another clear sign of the ceiling-less potency of Alaska Reid and Dylan Fraser.

Nina Cobham – “Mejor Contigo (Homesick)”

Manchester-based singer-songwriter Nina Cobham has a touch of magic to her subtly soaring vocals and vividly emotional lyrical prowess. New cut “Mejor Contigo (Homesick)” is the latest in an elongated line of beautiful releases, full of swirling synths and vocal intricacy.

Finn Foxell – “SNATCH”

Shepherd’s Bush alt rap general Finn Foxell has announced his long-awaited debut studio album, MAMAS BOY, is dropping 25th April. First single “SNATCH” is coy and playful, with a snappy rap-leaning vocal delivery cutting through the snappy and vibrant musical backdrop.

Coco Jones – “Taste”

GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Coco Jones samples the Britney Spears classic “Toxic” on new release “Taste”. Reimagined with a sensual R&B complexion, Jones sounds unmatched when she hits the chorus’ high notes.

Daffo – “Absence Makes The Heart Grow”

Brooklyn-based lyricist Daffo brings grunge and grace to their latest single “Absence Makes The Heart Grow”. The songwriting is piercing, depicting the dilapidation of a long distance relationship, whilst the Rob Schnapf produced instrumental is raw and riveting.

Nao – “30 Something”

Singer-songwriter Nao’s glistening fourth album is an uplifting tale of hope and growth. Focus single epitomises just that, with decadent instrumentation, gorgeous vocals and relatable lyrics aplenty.

KiLLOWEN – “pick your poison”

Continuing his masterful approach to fusing nostalgia, euphoria and originality, “pick your poison” incorporates Bell Biv DeVoe’s 90’s classic, “Poison” enhanced with his Garage-Rap influences. The release comes ahead of his upcoming EP “six missed calls” which is due next Friday.

Harvey Causon – “Flehmen Response”

North London’s Harvey Causon continues to rise up as a serious new name with “Flehmen Response”—a raw and introspective exploration of human connection and experience. Paired with a stunning video that utilises experimental FX, made completely DIY through glass, water and light manipulation alongside fellow creative Genevieve Reeves, Causon enters an unknown realm of communication; illustrated through shifting patterns and reflections before they collapse into a singular atom and consciousness.

IDER – Late to the World

Powerhouse pop duo IDER share their blinding new record, Late to the World. With balladry, dance pop and searing sentimentality running throughout, the album is an immersive and dream-imbued odyssey.

Emma-Jean Thackray ft. Kassa Overall – “It’s Okay”

Acclaimed producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Emma-Jean Thackray is back at it, sharing another sleek jazz-infused single “It’s Okay”. The drumming and vocal contributions from connoisseur Kassa Overall are outstanding, whilst Thackray proceeds in building hype for her new record with some excellent work of her own.

Nuuxs – “Ecstasy”

Producer and singer-songwriter Nuuxs is back with another lively and atmospheric dance pop single “Ecstasy”. The hook is anthemic, the beat is cross-genre and progressive, and Nuuxs sounds great vocally.

Stepz – “Whistle”

Laced with infectious percussion and a melodious flute cutting through the tension, “Whistle” emerges as another unshakable scene anthem from Stepz. Flexing his sleek lyrical prowess while rejecting trap life and embodying genuine ambition, the South London rapper and creative instantly carves out pockets to inspire the next generation to grind with focus.
