It’s unsurprisingly another fantastic offering from one of the most interesting artists around right now. Mei Semones’ stunning amalgamation of jazz, samba and math rock, with tender vocals and dazzling cadence is a standout this week. Her debut album, Animaru, is coming 2nd May.
Kean Kavanagh – “The Whistle”
Returning to his own solo project after a fairly lengthy hiatus, Irish producer and singer-songwriter takes a bold new step towards decadent folk with “The Whistle”. A homage to traditionalism with a modern touch, the new cut is a gentle and gregarious gem.
Kwengface – “2 Summers”
Drill linchpin Kwengface makes his highly anticipated return with new heater, “2 Summers”. He is leaving the streets behind with “2 Summers” which marks his first release since being free and becoming a father, and marks the first look at a new project on the way.
