Earlier this year, Saint Petersburg’s Kito Jempere unveiled his latest masterpiece, “Part Time Chaos Part Time Calmness”. Described as the “film I’ve never made but have the soundtrack for”, this ambitious and immersive project showcases Jempere’s multifaceted creative genius, capturing his seamless transition between the roles of musician and family man. Now, he brings this vision to life with the captivating visuals for the low-slung, emotionally charged folk opener, “Killer Line (Opening Titles)”.
Conceptually crafted by @milkhv and @pech0ng, the visuals for “Killer Line (Opening Titles)” are a mesmerising reflection of the track’s mood, blending Kito’s cinematic soundscape with stunning visual artistry. Jempere’s understated guitar melodies and expansive vocal range create a perfect backdrop for the 3D, low-poly animated short film. Almost stop-motion in its feel, the film paints a vivid picture of a fantastical, dystopian future, offering a tantalising glimpse into the rich, cinematic universe that has become Kito Jempere’s hallmark.
