Azawi is a multi-talented creative driving forward the Ugandan music scene. From her dance roots, she began writing music for prominent artists in her country like Nina Rose and Lydia Jazmine, before starting to write and perform her own music, quickly finding and establishing her striking sound.

She has recently returned to the release sphere with the unveiling of her new album, SANKOFA, an eclectic, profound and impressive body of work. Featuring the hit single “Ten Over 10” and stand out tracks like “Omwenge” and “Elevated”, it’s a sparkling showcase of the talent and vision of the artist.
