The Fashion Mash-Up Of The Week

Oh – and that Glenn Martens x H&M collab has finally landed. Keep scrolling for the full rundown of fashion headlines worth your attention this week…

The H&M Glenn Martens Collection Is Here

The Fashion Mash-Up Of The Week

Y/Project orphans, Margiela devotees, Diesel stans – this one is for all the children of Glenn Martens. The Belgian designer has teamed up with H&M to develop a collection as a guest designer. With an iconic campaign starring Joanna Lumley and Richard E. Grant, the line is a celebration of Martens’ signature design codes through a trip to the archive and his invisible strings with the British capital – from big, malleable coats to funky boots we’re dying to get our hands on. Available in selected stores and online from September 30.

Rick Owens and Dr. Martens Are Back

The Fashion Mash-Up Of The Week

Everyone says fashion is like a revolving door, coming back around every few years, but Rick Owens and Dr. Martens have officially proved it. Their latest collaboration reimagines three of Dr. Martens’ most iconic silhouettes through Rick Owens’ signature mega-lacing, a design detail that traces back further than even he realised. The motif, as Owens recently discovered, was subconsciously inspired by artist Joseph Beuys, who wore a similar boot in his 1965 film How to Explain Pictures to a Dead Hare. “I thought I invented it, but I only recently realised my mega-lacing is a memory of the boot worn by Joseph Beuys,” Owens shared in a statement.

The pair’s collaborations never miss, as we’ve seen in their architectural collection from 2024, and this latest drop is no exception. The campaign was shot by Owens in his Paris studio and features London-based Turkish producer, performer, and DJ, Sissy Misfit – the collection merging the unrefined construction and disruptive elegance that represents the rebellious beauty that defines both houses.

Duke + Dexter Ace High II for AW25

The Fashion Mash-Up Of The Week

If any brand was born in the wrong era, it’s Duke + Dexter. With its old-money, 1960s elevated aesthetic and retro Americana swagger, the label has revived the golden age in the form of studding, embroidery, and a lavish mid-century Palm Springs party. The Ace High II collection spans footwear, apparel, and accessories – all handmade in Europe from premium fabrics like leather and 220GSM jersey. Each piece features new artwork from in-house artist Jess, from sketched plus signs along the lateral walls of the Plus Duke sneakers to a hand-painted American flag across a vintage white tee. The campaign feels like it was torn straight from the pages of a 1960s magazine.

Casablanca gets icy

The Fashion Mash-Up Of The Week

Gone are the days of bulky snow suits and goggles that fog the higher you climb – Casablanca has officially entered the ski-wear game. Inspired by the beauty and class of ski resorts, from snowy slope allure, to glowing sunset peaks, the brand introduces their first ski capsule consisting of 64 pieces of ready to wear gear dripping in crystal whites, icy blues, and fiery reds.

Not only will Casablanca have you treating the mountains like a runway, it’ll have you moving up the slopes too. The collection consists of high performing pieces designed to seamlessly combine function and fashion The brand’s first pair of technical goggles features multiple layers of reflective coating made for high altitudes and bright sunlight, while jacquard coding, textural faux fur, and sculpted fleece capture Casablanca’s signature sense of elegance and play.
