AT ON, ZENDAYA IS RUNNING THE SHOW

This week, in the midst of Paris Fashion Week, our feeds and minds have been inundated with our favourite shows. But between the SS27 collections, there’s been plenty of other fashion news worth knowing about. Here’s what you might have missed.

At On, Zendaya is running the show

Zendaya and On are back with their second co-created collection, and this time they’ve gone full action film. Developed with Law Roach, the collection takes everyday sportswear and gives it Zendaya’s cool attitude, with oversized sweats, ruching, and a python print that Zendaya says works like a modern camo. The campaign, directed by Argentinian trio Pantera, sees Zendaya running and jumping with ease, while photographer Cass Bird captures her still.

Sinéad O’Dwyer is coming home

Ireland Fashion Week is back for its second edition, and one of the names to watch is Sinéad O’Dwyer, who will show at City Hall this week. The Irish designer has had a pretty big few years, from London’s BFC NEWGEN and the Zalando Visionary Award to becoming a 2025 LVMH Prize semi-finalist, and now has two of her designs in The Met’s Costume Institute. Known for her sculptural, body-conscious approach to pattern cutting and her focus on inclusivity, O’Dwyer feels like a particularly fitting choice for a Fashion Week that’s putting Irish talent firmly on the map. With more than 90 designers showing across the six-day programme, it’s a chance to see what’s happening in Irish fashion right now, with one of the country’s most exciting names doing it from home.

Everyone looks good in a Burberry trench

Burberry is celebrating 170 years with a new campaign all about the thing it has probably become best known for: outerwear. 170: The Anniversary Portraits brings together 170 people across London, New York, Seoul and Shanghai, from Arlo Parks and Lila Moss to footballers, artists, DJs and retail workers, and they all look very good in a trench. The portraits show the same coats and jackets looking completely different depending on who is wearing them and where they’re wearing them. Shot by Jack Day, with a film directed by Hector Aponysus, it’s a reminder that a Burberry coat is made for British weather, but you can wear it wherever you are, however you like.

Raul Lopez’s New York label has created its first-ever swim collection, including a limited-edition swim brief in The Standard’s signature sunshine yellow, finished with LUAR’s monogram hardware. The launch was celebrated at The Standard, Ibiza with a rooftop dinner bringing together people from fashion, art and culture, before LUAR took over the hotel’s boutique for a month-long pop-up.
