The Vlogger turned style icon opens her closet (almost) completely for eBay.

Of all the things Emma Chamberlain parted with for her eBay wardrobe sale, including vintage Versace jeans, KNWLS bags and MiuMiu earrings, her infamous scrunchies were the one thing she just couldn’t let go of. “No scrunchies [are for sale], they’re too nostalgic. Even though I don’t need them anymore, because I have a pixie cut, I still have all of them.”
Emma’s sense of style has inspired a generation of people who have watched her shop, eat, and even sleep on video: every season, fans on TikTok post “@emmachamberlain what are we wearing this fall?” I’ve watched friends replicate entire outfits after seeing Emma wear them first. Now, with her eBay wardrobe sale, she’s inviting her followers even closer.
With over 100 pieces, and bids starting as low as $0.99 and a portion of the sales benefiting charity, Chamberlain’s eBay collection includes moments from her life online. “There are so many pieces on there that I’ve worn time and time again on the internet,” she shares. “There’s some Coachella pieces, one that comes to mind is this little red spotty Diesel purse.” (Imagine someone complimenting your bag and you casually reply “ thanks, Emma Chamberlain wore this to Coachella!”)
“There’s a unique coziness to wearing clothing that’s already lived another life,” she says. Her recent closet cleanup video titled “I got rid of (almost) everything,” has over 4.5 million views on YouTube and even sparked a wardrobe cleanup trend on TikTok. Still, Emma insists that parting with her beloved pieces isn’t always easy. “The hardest piece to part with was a fuzzy Acne Studios sweater I wore intimately, even to sleep sometimes! But it just wasn’t my style anymore, so I passed it on, hoping it would be perfect for someone else.”
Her approach to shopping is just as thoughtful. Before buying anything new, Emma always pauses to ask herself, and encourages others to do the same, “Will I still want to wear it in five years? Is it timeless, or will I cringe later?” Her message is clear: shop less, curate more, have fun and give her pieces a new life, except, of course, for those scrunchies.
